MS. RIVERA'S MATH CLASS

Students should be prepared to have math homework Monday thru Thursday.  It is rare that they have homework on the weekend, but I will assign homework on weekends as needed.  Students must attempt all homework by reviewing notes and examples. Homework must be complete before they get to class or it is considered late and they will receive no higher than a 70.  They may turn homework in ONE day late for a 70, after that they go into the grade book as zeros.  I am available to help students with homework every morning and afternoon.  Please visit the websites listed below for math games and practice.

UIL Pictures

All pictures that I take at school events are sold to raise money for our UIL teams.  Please visit the site on shutterfly to view pictures.  Just write down the numbers of pics you would like to order and email me or bring by a list.  I will print 4x6 prints and they sell at two for $3.  We thank you for all your support.

  7th Math

Pre-Algebra

Monday – Friday

We will be working on projects that help strengthen math skill learned throughout 7th grade year.  The bedroom remodeling project was a great success.  Students did a great job on their 3-D Models.  I am so proud of all their hard work.

We will do our M&M project throughout the  week.  The concepts will include probability and statistics, ratio & proportion, percentage, unit conversion, area, bar graphs, and pie charts.  We will start the project on Monday and will turn it in on Friday.
