on Immunization
School year 2009 – 2010 all Pre-K
students must be immunized against Hep-A vaccine and pneumoccal in addition to other required vaccines (DPT, OPV,
MMR, HIB, Hep-B, Varicella) prior to enrollment. Please contact the

Pre-Kindergarten
Registration
Ricardo Elementary will conduct
pre-registration for all new Pre-K and Kindergarten students for the 2009-2010
school year from April 20-May 15 from 8:30-3:30 p.m.
in the elementary office. The Pre-K program is a half-day program.
Pre-Kindergarten Registration
Ricardo Elementary will be accepting
pre-registration for Pre-Kinder students for the 2009-2010 school year. The following
criteria must be met for eligibility:
1. Must provide proof of residency in
the Ricardo School District (Current Light Bill).
2. Must be 4 on or before Sept.1, 2009.
3. Must qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch
program.
4. Must be limited English Proficient.
5. Parents are active military service.
6. Have ever been in the conservatorship
(foster care) of the Department of Family
and Protective Services (DFPS) following an
adversary hearing.
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten students must meet the
following eligibility criteria in order to
Pre-register
in kindergarten for 2009-2010 school year.
1. Must provide proof of residency in
the Ricardo School District (Current Light Bill).
2. Must be 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2009.
Parents also need to provide the
following:
1. Current Immunization Record
2. State Certified Birth Certificate
3. Child*s Social Security Card
4. Picture ID of the parent/guardian
enrolling child
