Welcome To The 2025 - 2026  School Year

The annual online registration window for Ricardo ISD students for the 2025 - 2026 school year is now open. 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING CHANGES TO OUR 
PROOF OF RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS

A letter from Ricardo ISD regarding proof of residency requirements for the 2025-2026 school year.

Similar to previous year, we will require that parents/guardians log into/create their Ascender Parent Portal account to complete student registration and update information for all new or returning students. All parents/guardians should verify all information submitted for registration. Step by step instructions are available through links listed below under FAQ & Parent Portal Guides & Common Problems. 

 

*Before attending in person student registration, all parents/guardians must complete the online registration portion.*

  • To expedite your in person registration process, you may print and fill out forms under the Ricardo ISD Documents tab and bring them with you to in person registration. These same forms will be made available and required at in person registration. A link to the tab OR the PDF versions of the files are also available at the bottom of this page.

  • A digital document lists required documents for new district students.

    If your student is new to the district, and has never attended RISD, please contact the campus secretary to set up a registration appointment. The secretary will review documents with you, and will walk you through the online registration process.

    Click HERE and go directly to the login page
    Type the user name you entered when you created your Ascender Parent Portal account. Your username is not case sensitive.
    Type the most recent password entered for this account. Your password IS case sensitive.

    Warning! If you have three unsuccessful attempts to log on (invalid user name/password combinations), the system will loc out your account for a time set by the district. Try logging on again later.

     

    Forgot your login information? 
    If you have forgotten your password, you are able to reset it. You can also change your password at any time.

    • From the Login page
    • Click the links below the login fields "Forgot Password?" or "Forgot User Name?" to go to the Reset Password page
    • You will get 2 different options on resetting your login information.

    • Click Resume Registration
    • View each form and fill in or update information as required
    • Click Next Form to move on
    • When you have reviewed and entered all required data on all required forms, hit Finish and Submit to District button displayed at the bottom of the page.

    • Complete the online Ascender Parent Portal registration portion PRIOR to arriving to in person registration 
    • Bring one proof of residency document from each column (A, B, C)

    • Updated required student immunizations
    • 6th-8th grade students, cash to purchase required PE uniform
       

    Not sure you have all of the required documentation for Proof of Residency?

    • Complete the online registration portion prior to arrival to in person registration.
    • Attend the July 24th, 2025 in person registration from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm  or the July 28th, 2025 in person registration from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and bring as much documentation as possible.
