The RMS Grade-Level Attendance Competition is BACK!

Throughout the year, we will select certain weeks to see which grade level has the BEST attendance percentage and earns a special reward!

For our first competition, we decided to look at attendance from the very first day of school through now. And WOW—this was a close one!

 6th Grade — 97.4%
 7th Grade — 97.2%
 8th Grade — 96.8%

Congratulations to our 6TH GRADE students for taking the first attendance championship of the year! They celebrated their victory today with ICE CREAM SANDWICHES!

Learning in Action @ RMS

Mrs. Baylie De La Rosa’s 8th Grade Social Studies students brought history to life today with a “Taxation Without Representation” simulation as they studied the causes of the American Revolution!

And yes… the royalty definitely dressed the part! The crowns and royal robes made this lesson one our students won’t soon forget.

Our Yellowjackets had a blast while getting a firsthand look at why the colonists became so frustrated with British rule. Great job, Mrs. De La Rosa, for making history fun, interactive, and memorable!

Learning history is a whole lot more fun when you get to live it!
